1. Ammar Ali
Well, who don’t know him! If you are in the field of Blogging or loves to read other blogs, than you must know the Founder and Owner of AllBloggingTips.com, Ammar Ali!
He has a blog that is less than 1.5 years, but he is getting a solid amount of Traffic, Readers and Social Followers etc.
So here are my Questions to him!
Q.1 – When your blogging journey started? How difficult it was to make AllBloggingTips such a famous one?
It was the month of June 2011, when I started taking interest in creating static websites, and then I got to know about blogs, which were really easy to setup and update.
In the next few months, I did a lot of search on this, even I created a WP blog (on free hosting) and I also tried BlogSpot.
So I decided to start my own professional blog, where I’ll share what I’ve learnt so far.
On 1st December 2011, my blog was live.
Though the starting day was not really easy, I did a BIG mistake in choosing web hosting. I faced a lot of issue with it (I’m using HostGator now).
Making ABT successful took my lot of time, I used to publish around 5 articles per week in first 2-3 months of my blog.
Then I started increasing the frequency. Not only this, I created a strong network around my blog niche, I made friends and followers.
All I can say is it was not easy, though not so hard.
Q.2 – What do you do other than Blogging?
I’m a part-time blogger and student, so other than blogging, I do focus on studies, playing games like cricket, having fun with friends and spending time with my family.
Q.3 – How do you promote your blog?
I write killer content once in two weeks, my most articles are informative, long and useful which people loves to share and comment.
I mostly use social networks to promote my blog. I’m active more on my fan page.
I do blog commenting and guest posting often, which is also helping me to promote my blog and to get more exposure.
Q.4 – How do you manage to keep hold of your existing traffic?
I update my old blog posts often and I optimize them for search engines, not only this I also share all the old posts on social network. It keeps bringing the traffic.
Blog commenting and guest posting also does help in this.
Thejas Kamath, Another young blogger with a blog just 4 Months old but really successful! He has managed to get less than 1.5 Lakhs Alexa Rank and more than 6000 Twitter Followers in this short period of time.
He blogs at SayBlogger.com
So, My Questions!
Q.1 – When you started your blogging journey? How and why?
I started blogging when I was 13 years old. It was the time when I got access to the internet. I was very much interested in computer and loved to learn interesting things online.
That’s how I learned about blogging and what it is. Like many other young bloggers, I created my first blog on blogger.com, as it was a free blogging platform.
Q.2 – What do you do other than blogging?
I do many things other than blogging. I’m a football lover and a die-hard Manchester United supporter. I play football whenever possible, at any ground or sometimes even inside my house.
Apart from playing football, I love to listen to music, watch movies and chat with interesting people online.
Q.3 – How could you manage to get 1.5 lakh Alexa Rank and 6000 Twitter followers in just 4 months?
I followed some strategies to improve my Alexa ranking from Millions to less than 1.5 lakh. I’ve a post on my blog on how to improve Alexa ranking. I’ve shared all my strategies there. Improve Alexa Rankings Of Your Blog!
And to increase Twitter followers, the only thing I did was to be active on it. Twitter is little confusing and it took me some time before I could understand it properly. But once I learned how it worked, I’ve been able to get thousands of followers. You can read my post on getting thousands of followers on Twitter – How To Get Thousands Of Twitter Followers!
Q.4 – What are the ways of earning on your blog? How much you make every month?
Currently, I’m not displaying AdSense ads on my 3-month old blog because I feel it’s not the right time to do that. But I’m displaying affiliate banners on my blog because I’m in the process of learning affiliate marketing.
I do not have a steady income from my blog as I’m not fully into making money from my blog. I’m trying to learn new things every day and share my experiences with new bloggers to build a better blog.
In the last three months, I’ve earned $600 which I think is a good sum for a blog at infancy stage.
Q.5 – What ambitions you have in blogging world?
My ambition is to be a full-time blogger. I love this job and it feels awesome when you help other people.
My dream is to make SayBlogger one of the best blogs about blogging and help thousands of people to make their blogs better.
Q.6 – How do you manage to get handsome traffic to your blog?
Facebook, Twitter and Google are the main sources of traffic my blog receives. I also get plenty of traffic by commenting on other blogs. I think this is very important for getting targeted traffic to your blog.
As my blog is new, I’m not getting a lot of traffic from Google. I hope as my blog gets older, I’ll see improvement in organic traffic.
3. Amal Rafeeq
He is the Founder of BloggerDoc.com
He is very active on other Blogs, comments on them really often! He is Young and getting Traffic to his Blog pretty effectively :)
Below are my Questions and his answers!
Q.1 – When You Started Blogging and Why?
When and Why! 2 Words I use to hear almost every day.
I’ve been wandering here on the internet for the past 1 and a half year. First I was a techno fan and then turned into a one who likes to experiment. I DO had some blogs (like 5 or 8) which I barely posted 1 or 2 posts in it. Like every newbie blogger, I just didn’t knew what all to do.
It was my old friend Akhil, who turned me into this Blogosphere. But the craziest thing is – he is not a blogger at all. He is my best pal. He was really into Hacking and Facebook at the time when I didn’t knew how to operate a computer. His interest became mine in time. Then I decided to dive into depths of it. Yeah, it was fun. I started wondering about all those web logs I used to read learning about Hacking and all. To be frank, I was always a jealousy one and I worked on starting myself a blog. But it turned out to be BLOGS for each posts.
But in time I started learning how things work, while I and Akhil had some problems between us and we fought away.
Gradually after blogging about almost all kinda Niches, my main Niche transformed to Blogging Guides. And that’s how BloggerDoc.com was born exactly 2 months ago.
I do it to find myself engaged on something, get a passive income and to let my parents know I’m really worth in doing something. I also do want to contribute something to the Indian Blogosphere.
Q.2 – How Do You manage to get good traffic to your blog?
Traffic, Woof! It was like the hardest part at my starting time. I know all bloggers are working hard to gain organic traffic. But lemme tell you one thing. Only 25% of my Total traffic source is Search Engines. I keep up the game from genuine readers from other blogs and Social Medias by Guest Blogging, being everywhere and engaging in discussions.
You might be wondering why I don’t get organic traffic. Yeah! It’s a sad thing but I don’t write my contents for Bots and Search Engines. I write for my readers and turn them to Loyal readers.
Right now I’m participating in a Guest Blogging Contest which is helping me to gain some extra traffic.
Don’t hesitate to try something which you’re sure it can’t harm you.
Q.3 – Who inspired you to do blogging?
I seriously do not want to kick away the one who was the reason for my blogging life - Akhil VS. He was always there for me by seriously supporting me. Mocking me to do more. He was like my Strength to start everything. Each milestone I did on my career was to get a rating from him at the beginning. I do miss him and hope he was here to see my new blog and social presence. But probably he might have forgotten me already .
Q.4 – How do you make Revenue from your blog, How much you make every month?
My revenue sources are of Three ways. AdSense, Affiliate Products and Services.
Talking about AdSense, it’s just like 5 or 7$ each day since almost every readers on this Niche know well about these ads and it’s like “Oh! My Gosh! – It’s an AD” for them. AdSense helps me to buy some quality dresses every end of the month.
Affiliation is working second for me. I don’t advertise directly on my blog with banners of the products I promote. I just include inside my content with links and promote it. As you can imagine, it depends on the number of people and scale of products I sell and it differs every time. The average revenue from Affiliate Marketing is like 175$ – 190$ / Month.
Services – Hell yeah! That’s one thing I really do like to do and bag some cash from. I do Ghostwriting, Web Designing, Blog Promotion, Theme Customization, Blog Consultancy, Sell Facebook Likes, Twitter Followers and Sell Genuine Traffic. I love Logo designing too. The rate of deals I get increases with my online presence and thanks to you Vishesh, I’m pretty sure this interview will help me to boost it. These kinda deals often carry an amount of 200$ and I get about 3 or 5 of them a month.
Q.5 – What are your ambitions in Blogging?
Ambitions in Blogging? I think you got the simplest answer if you stumble those words up a bit. Blogging is the Ambition
I do want to be an Internet Marketer, Blogger who can survive till the death and one who can code up like an artist.
The Indian Education and Life system is like a fixed plan or Robotic form I think. It’s like people have to follow written rules. I do want to let some understand that it’s he/she who gotta decide his own destiny. Not some others. So I’m struggling hard to get noticed.
